The Rise of Malamine Ouedraogo in the Corporate World

The Beginning of Malamine’s Career

Burkina Faso is not a country from which the rest of the world expects much. Being in Africa and a having lower GDP than most countries, it gets difficult for corporate employees to make it big here. After Malamine Ouedraogo completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Sales and Marketing, he had not hoped for much than just a sustainable job. He got into a small company and helped them strategize their marketing campaigns. Within a short amount of time, the company improved its sales revenue thanks to Ouedraogo’s ideas.

New Opportunities and Responsibilities

A promotion was coming soon for Malamine Ouedraogo when he received a call from a multinational company that was looking for high potential candidates. There was no way Malamine could ignore their high-paying job offer. He progressed well in this company too. Within 5 years of joining, he became the Head of the Sales and Marketing Department. The Company’s Board recommended his name for the position of Traveling Sales Manager. His job would include going around the country, the neighboring countries, and occasionally to Europe for promotional events.

International Appointment

Ouedraogo still remembers the night before the day when he would get informed if he was selected or not. He had been working hard to get to this place. He was so close to realizing his dreams that if it did not find fulfillment, he would lose his mind. Sleepless and nervous, he remembers how he entered the meeting hall and heard congratulatory comments fill the room. To top it off, Malamine’s first assignment was in France. It had been one memorable journey for the young Ouedraogo, out there to prove his worth to the world.

Writing and Charity

Many years have passed since but Malamine Ouedraogo likes to revisit these memories once in a while just to remind himself to remain humble. Coming from a poverty-struck nation, it was day-to-day survival for him. Now he enjoys a comfortable life with his family. He has even begun to write about beauty and health products on his online blog. His writings often find a place in the national newspaper and even in some international magazines and websites. Malamine is enjoying his share of success and he deserves every bit of it.

Malamine Ouedraogo’s rise to fame has inspired many young people of Burkina Faso to dream big too. Ouedraogo frequently runs charitable events to help the poor section of his country. His accomplishments are the result of his hard work and dedication.
